Mission

My goal is to approach each person as a whole – body, Mind, HEart, and spirit.

I intend to support you with the tools to be your own healer, through holistic forms of medicine paired with conventional care. Your body is so intelligent. Many illnesses improve by slowing down, connecting, and caring for ourselves.

About me

My early college studies in psychology planted the seed for exploring how the body and mind affect health. How do our bodies connect with thought and emotion? I attended medical school because I saw how behavior powerfully influences health and wellness.

Although I traveled the path of conventional medicine, I turned to integrative and holistic healing to tend to my own health during medical training. Forms of healing like acupuncture, therapy, and plant medicine helped me appreciate that we are more than the sum of our parts. They guided me to reconnect with myself. Now, herbalism rooted in the Wise Woman Tradition of Healing, Sacred Plant Medicine, and Mind-Body Medicine are all essential tools that I use when working with patients and clients.

An important part of connecting to my whole self was tuning into my menstrual cycle. Growing up, I often ignored it. My doctor prescribed me the pill when I had an unplanned pregnancy at age 16. After several years, I developed awful side effects. A new doctor offered me more prescriptions, which felt like bandages, not solutions. I stopped the pill, started researching, and listened to my body. After learning how to appreciate my cycle, I focused on promoting more embodied reproductive and general health for my patients.
